Our Operations Team’s Operations Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the smooth planning and execution of TEDxNortheasternU events. The Coordinator collaborates closely with different teams to manage logistics, schedules, and operational needs, ensuring every aspect of the event runs efficiently. This role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly to challenges.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue setup, catering, equipment, and supplies
- Develop and maintain detailed event schedules, timelines, and checklists
- Liaise with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure operational needs are met
- Manage inventory and ordering of event materials and supplies
- Anticipate and troubleshoot logistical issues before and during events
- Support the overall planning process by ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and team communication is streamlined
- Track and report on operational progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with a focus on anticipating operational needs and ensuring smooth execution
- Experience managing logistics or operations for events (preferred but not required)
