Operations Lead

Underneath the Director of Operations, the Operations Lead aids the Director in overseeing all logistics and procurement. This position holds more responsibility in regard to decisions with external vendors, purchases, and logistics. Although the Director and Co-Presidents have final say, this role should be knowledgable and contribute opinions to aide the final decisions. They contribute to both the logistics and procurement coordinators responsibilities, filling in where is necessary as decided by the Director. Example tasks include managing the inventory and CSI locker, submitting Event Requests on Engage, supervising the schedule and timeline, and managing the Google Drive.

2-6 hrs/week


  • Work closely with the Director of Operations and other team members to ensure that procurement needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Submit Event Requests on Engage; manage the organization's Engage profile
  • Know every detail regarding day-of event logistics and procurement
  • Assist the Director in managing team members and tasks
  • Fill in for logistics & procurement needs as the Director sees fit
  • Develop opinions in order to aide the Director and Co-Presidents in final decisions regarding operational items


  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Resourceful
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Passion for creating a successful event and contributing to a meaningful community
  • Past experience managing complex processes with several moving parts is a plus
  • Strong understanding and experience with Google Suite is necessary
